WHAT IS AFCAT

AFCAT exam which stands for Air Force Common Admission Test is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) for the recruitment of officers in the Indian Air Force. The exam is conducted twice a year, in February and August.You must have completed a bachelor's degree in any field to be eligible for the AFCAT exam. The specific subject or stream of your degree does not matter. There are three branches in Afcat for which you can apply. They are:

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE

The minimum age requirement for the AFCAT exam is 20 years. You must have completed 20 years of age as on 01 January of the year of examination.

WHAT IS THE QUALIFICATION

You must have completed a bachelor's degree in any field to be eligible for the AFCAT exam. The specific subject or stream of your degree does not matter.

IS THEIR A PHYSICAL TEST

Yes, there is a physical edurance test for AFCAT. The activites include push-ups, sit-ups, Running. Candidates need to complete a certain distance in a given time. They should do a minimum number of push ups. Same with sit ups

WHAT IS THE HEIGHT REQUIRMENT

The height requirment may change according to the branch you are applying. However, for males it's an average 165cm and for female it's 155cm

WHAT ARE THE MEDICAL QUALIFICATIONS

The candidates must be medically fit as the qualifications given by the IAF. The specific requirments are Eyesight, Hearing, Dental and Medical History. The standards might be low for the ground duty
